Résidence Les Cîmes - Centre Val d'Isère

We were told after checking in, on the same day we booked, that sheets weren't included in room 402, managed by Mont Blanc Booking. They first said they couldn't provide any that day. Only after we threatened to cancel did they arrange sheets and towels, at 22€ per set. There was no parking either. If those extra charges had been disclosed before booking, I might have looked past the other problems, but I felt ripped off. The floors, beds, and surfaces were filthy, the chairs and curtains were broken, and the whole building smelled of cigarettes. The free Wi-Fi advertised actually costs 3€ for 30 minutes.

We booked room 402 through Mont Blanc booking with a friend. There were no sheets or towels when we arrived, and they're available only for an extra fee. The ski locker area smelled strongly of cigarettes. Hotels.com advertised free Wi-Fi, but the fees to use it were ridiculous. The balcony curtains were almost falling off, attached to the wall in a very haphazard way.

Completely grim. The shower was unusable because it had dirty water from the previous guests, with hair and soap suds, and it wouldn't drain. There was rubbish in the bin, toothpaste and spit across the sink and mirror, and dirty laundry and wet towels on the floor. Thank god it was only one night.

The listing on Booking.com for apartment 402, APPARTEMENT CENTRAL SKI ET COMMERCE VAL D'ISERE, didn't match the actual place at all. The balcony couldn't be used because of the snow. Inside, the sofa was disgusting, the table was sticky and impossible to clean, and the floor, sheets, and towel were all dirty. There was just one small towel for two of us. The shower and bedroom lamp were broken, too. We complained as soon as we arrived and sent the photos they asked for, but nobody did anything to improve things.
