The ground-floor rooms are especially nice, and having direct garden access was really convenient with our little dog. The dishes in the cafeteria were a real problem: we checked around 30 plates, and every one had food on it. We reported it to reception twice during our two-day stay. They brought what they considered clean dishes, but those still had food residue, and nothing changed. It seems like a small problem that could be fixed with minimal effort, perhaps by changing the dishwasher, but they appear content to keep serving dirty dishes. The breakfast also wasn’t worth the price.

We found the hotel handy for our overnight stop on the way to Spain, and the room and hotel looked recently updated. Staff were very friendly. The evening menu felt a little limited for us, though other guests were dining, and there are several other restaurants an easy walk away. Breakfast was good and well stocked.

The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well kept, which made our stay relaxing. We did have to track down an iron and ironing board to share, since neither was in the room. Renovations were underway, and the place seemed short-staffed, which affected the service. The restaurant and bar were rarely open, so dining choices were limited. We were there during the last two weeks of August, when many French and European people take holidays, though. A comfortable, clean place, with those drawbacks to keep in mind.

We were welcomed with our dog in the breakfast room, and the staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was spacious, clean, quiet, and comfortable. The hotel is south of the city. We’d definitely come back.

There are plenty of fast car chargers nearby, and the hotel is close to the autoroute. We arrived on a late ferry and got a really warm welcome. The room was comfy. We skipped breakfast and found a Boulangerie about five minutes down the road.
