The in-house dinners were amazing, with local produce and a wine list that could hold its own against many upmarket restaurants. Charles and Tarcies have made a real haven here, with a peaceful setting, lovely rooms and furnishings, and classy attention to detail. They know the area well and share plenty of local knowledge. Absolutely fabulous. I can't imagine anyone staying here and finding anything to be disappointed about.

We had dinner together and such a lovely time. They are two of the nicest people we've ever stayed with, and the hospitality was impossible to fault.

For a midweek break, we stayed with Tarcies and Charles and really enjoyed their hospitality. They helped us plan fun excursions and cycling routes, and each evening brought a fantastic four-course dinner with a different cheese board. Our room was spacious and had a bath. They made the whole stay a wonderful surprise, and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Dinner was a delight, with Tarcies taking care of the food and Charles the wine and cheese, plus such lovely conversation. They were always ready to listen and help plan a hike, even putting together a route for us. The room was beautiful and spacious, the bed was wonderful, and breakfast was delicious. We also loved the views and the lovely spring-fed pool. La Vaisse gave us a warm welcome from the start. Highly recommended.
