B&B HOTEL Alençon Nord

The breakfast had a very good range and the service was great. Our room had plenty of space, and the beds were comfortable. I’d recommend it.

The team made us feel really welcome, including the manager, and it was clear they care about their guests. Our room was clean and comfortable too. A great stay, definitely worth 5 stars. I’d happily recommend this B&B.

The scrambled eggs at breakfast were good, and there’s a loop around the industrial estate that would work well for running reps. I’d expected basic facilities and was prepared for that, as I understood everything would be clean. But getting inside late at night was incredibly difficult: with the gate locked, there were no clear instructions. Skip the marketing talk and email guests simple directions. To their credit, the 24-hour helpline connected me to a person who helped, but by then the damage was done.

The room and bathroom were tiny, and the walls were so thin we could hear everything next door. It smelled very musty and didn’t seem clean. We booked for two adults, two children, and a baby, but there was no cot in the room. Reception said none was available. There weren’t enough pillows either. We wouldn’t come back.
