Mas De L'Ilon

Our group of 14 had a magical yoga retreat at Mas de Lilion, and the owners, Claudie and Jean-Noel, were kind, helpful, and accommodating all the way through. The yoga room fit us comfortably, and we also enjoyed the infrared sauna, sparkling clean pool, and jacuzzi. There’s a beautiful kitchen with a gas stove, good sink, refrigerator, and a great espresso and coffee maker. Each lovely room has its own bathroom. We felt as though we’d landed in a fairy tale, with an amazing facility right at hand. The village and its people were wonderful, and the surrounding scenery was a joy. We were right next to an apricot orchard, with phenomenal fruit. We loved every minute. Thank you, Vallabrègues and Mas De Lilion!

Claudie was a huge help before and during our week-long stay. She shared local tips, arranged reservations for tours ahead of time, and helped book restaurants for our group of 14. My wife and I hosted a yoga retreat for Americans at Mas de L'llon, and the accommodation exceeded our hopes. The house was even better in person than the online pictures suggested. Everyone was comfortable, and the bedrooms all had private bathrooms and AC. We also made good use of the pool, jacuzzi, sauna, massage room, and yoga room. Vallabregues is walkable, with good dining, a small grocery store for basics including Rose, and charming historic buildings along the Rhine river. One tip from our experience: arrive for lunch by 130pm, since many restaurants in the region close around 230-6pm. We arrived closer to 2pm and risked being turned away or seated reluctantly by unhappy servers. I strongly recommend Mas de L'llon as a base for exploring the South of France. There are so many tours that you could return without repeating them. I’ve already suggested it to other yoga instructors who host retreats, and we’re planning another healing adventure there. We had a wonderful time here after finding the place through a Wonderbox gift voucher. The room was magnificent and the setting beautiful. Claudie made us feel very welcome and gave us great tips on the area, places to eat, and walks. Breakfast was excellent too. Thanks again, and see you soon!

Our group had a very pleasant stay at Mas de l'Ilon, which suited us perfectly. The rooms had private bathrooms and very comfortable beds, and there were large tables both indoors and out. We also enjoyed the outdoor facilities: the pool, jacuzzi, pétanque court, and pool house. Claudie and Jean-Noël gave us a warm welcome, and with so much to do in the region, there’s no chance of getting bored. We highly recommend it!
