The pool is nice, and things were fairly clean and friendly, but it could really use improvement. The accommodation itself is decent, though dated. The “hut” is tiny and barely furnished, and it feels like corners were cut throughout. Some outlets were taped over. Why? If they were unsafe, they should have been disconnected or plastered over. The room also has no soundproofing or other insulation. There were far too many very aggressive mosquitoes, though that's not the seller's fault.

The apartments are beautifully furnished, and the garden is kept very well. It's a small residence tucked into lush greenery, with a little stream where you can spot frogs and eels. The welcome was very warm. Kids have plenty to do with a pool, swing set, and badminton court, and it's only 100 meters from the beach. Horse riding and diving are available nearby.

We were surrounded by lush greenery and felt at ease as soon as we arrived. Our apartment was very quiet, with a soothing view of the natural surroundings, and the pool looked beautiful among the many plants and trees. The owner was wonderfully attentive and gave us great tips on restaurants, walks, and shops. Local specialties were waiting on the table when she showed us around and handed over the keys. From there, a little riverside path leads to a 2-kilometer-long beach where it's impossible not to find a spot. Port of Taverna is right nearby, with shops and restaurants less than five minutes away by car. It's a great base for exploring the island's north, south, and west, with lots of hiking trails nearby.

The garden was lovely, and the pool was large. The place was simple and small, and the shower felt a bit too cramped, but it had what you needed.
