The room Louis XVII was lovely and really comfortable. We booked our two-night stay with a smartbox gift certificate, and Olivier joined us and another couple for Muscadet in the evening. He told us some fascinating stories about the history of his home. Clisson’s castle ruins are nearby, and the village is beautiful if you have time to visit. We loved our stay and would come back.

Breakfast was generous, and our room was pleasant and suited the château’s style. We also had an excellent dinner on-site with the château’s own wine. The host was very welcoming. The shared areas could use a little more attention when it comes to cleanliness.

Our “Jouy” room was beautiful, and the whole place felt relaxed. We were welcomed so warmly, and enjoyed a good dinner followed by a delicious breakfast. Thanks to our host.
