The kids' farm was fascinating, and we had fun at the pétanque court. I also loved the shop and came away with loads of lovely local wine, cider, jam, and honey. The bread was great, and reception staff were friendly, chatty, and helpful. For our motorhome, the huge pitches and peaceful atmosphere were just right, and the sanitaires were clean and spacious. The pool and snack bar were closed when we visited at the end of September, though I'm sure they're good. We can't wait to come back. À bientôt!

The pitches were generous, shady, and private, and the toilets, showers, and washing-up machines were clean and well kept. We also really enjoyed the pool, open farm, kids' play area, and activities. Having a restaurant right there was handy, and the Tuesday moules frites was a nice bonus. You can see how much pride the owners take in the campsite.

We've stayed twice, and the children are still asking to go back. The farm is educational, the setting is very welcoming for kids, and the spacious, comfortable, shaded pitches and facilities make camping easy. The children's activities are in French and supervised, and they really made an impression. We also fitted in trips to nearby castles when it wasn't too hot. The staff were consistently enthusiastic and helpful. We'd recommend it to anyone after a camping break. See you again!

It took me nearly a week of a two-week holiday to unwind from work in the past, but here I was off grid within a day. The whole place feels relaxed and close to nature, with a few comforts: a pool, bar and restaurant, central amenities, and fresh baguettes and croissants every day. There are plenty of farm animals for children and grown-ups to get close to. It's a family-run place, and you can feel how much the owners care about it. A couple of things to know: if you're bringing a caravan, walk your pitch first. Some are small, have a tree in the middle, or are awkward to reach. The bar and restaurant shut after the summer school holidays. My wife used to come here with her siblings as a child, and for her it brings those memories back. I can imagine our 15-month-old wanting to bring his own children one day. I already can't wait for next year, even if I'd rather skip the caravan drive. It's a fantastic place for families, with a more down-to-earth feel than a typical holiday park full of organized activities.

We stopped for a quiet night on the way to the Dordogne and enjoyed the campsite's pool and play area. The kids loved meeting the puppies and kittens. We didn't venture beyond the site or manage to see all the animals, but the spacious pitch and activities made the slightly higher price feel worthwhile. It's a small campsite, and the pitches offer plenty of privacy.
