We stayed at a lodge nearer the Pont d'Arc and came here for dinner. We had reserved a table on the nice terrace, but there was no view of the Ardeche or Pont d'Arc. Our waiter was very friendly, though he kept forgetting drinks and other orders. The food was okay. What bothered us most was how quickly it came. They forgot the brut aperitif and brought it only after the entree was on the table, when white wine was the pairing, not brut. The house Chardonnay tasted like bubble gum and was too sweet to pass as dry. The red wine was nice, as were the main courses, which I'd give four stars, though they weren't special. The mains came just five minutes after our empty plates were cleared. Desserts were okay, maybe three stars. By the third forgotten item, the waiter's kindness wasn't enough to make up for it. If you want accessible, unfussy food and a two-hour, three-course dinner, this place will do. There are clearly better nearby options, though they aren't open on Monday.

The dishes looked nice and the presentation had a fine dining feel, but the food itself wasn't good. The set menu is fairly cheap, so I guess you get what you pay for. It's convenient to eat where you're staying, but we were disappointed and would have been better off keeping our expectations low.

The terrace was empty, but after we waited 10 minutes and four staff members passed without even saying hello, we were told the bar was only for hotel guests. Lamentable and really unprofessional. They should change the roadside signs.

The service was friendly, pleasant, and flawless, and every course from appetizer through dessert was perfect. We only got to eat here once, but it was truly excellent and worth the price. I highly recommend it.

We paid €110 for food that felt like cafeteria fare, and honestly we'd eat better at home. The experience was catastrophic. The room was so quiet you could hear a pin drop, the waiter wore flip-flops, and the food didn't look like the pictures online. For comparison, we spent €80 at a restaurant in Ruoms last night and everything there was excellent.
