4/10

The poolside apartment in the main building was noisy well into the night. Restaurant chairs scraped across the concrete until midnight, and there were petrol fumes from a tractor parked nearby. The pool wasn't usable, either. Inside, everything felt old and worn. The shower head wouldn't stay on the wall, so I had to hold it by hand. There isn't much to see or do around there, though there is a bakery close by, and parking on site is free. Communication was extremely hard. No one spoke a word of English, and the restaurant had only a French menu, so ordering was difficult unless you could explain exactly what you wanted.

The food was great, and the service was so friendly. Had a fabulous lunch today. I'll definitely be back!

The cooking is what makes this place special. The hotel itself may not be that interesting, but the amazing food makes up for whatever you might not like.

We had a super meal for New Year's Eve. A really excellent restaurant.

As usual, both the food and service were excellent. I'll be coming back yet again.
