The view was incredible, and the room stayed comfortable even in the summer heat. Christelle had filled the Nordic tub with cold water, which felt so refreshing in the sun. She was also wonderfully welcoming. She invited me to a wine festival with her friends, then we had dinner, and she made me feel right at home. Breakfast the next morning was the best I’ve ever had, with 14 kinds of cheese, fresh local pastries, and coffee. She even let me do a load of laundry. I stayed for one night this summer and only just realized I hadn’t left a review. I wholeheartedly recommend Domaine de la rue de la tour.

The Nordic Bath was a lovely luxury on top of an already wonderful stay. Our apartment was very clean and had everything we needed, plus a little more. We loved our 7 days at Domaine Rue de la Tour. Christelle was such a kind, attentive host and surprised us with lovely treats and drinks during our stay.

There was plenty of peace and quiet, and the wood-fired nordic spa bath had lovely views over the Beaujolais countryside. I spent 3 nights in Chloe's room, which was comfortable and clean. Christelle is an amazing host who seems to anticipate what you need before you do. She made delicious meals for me on two evenings and booked a restaurant for the other one.

The view from the house across the village and valley is magnificent, and you get the same panorama from the outdoor Nordic bath. We had a lovely Valentine's weekend together, even wearing hats our host kindly lent us. Christelle's welcome felt warm and genuine, and the breakfasts were generous, with homemade or local products. The cheese platter deserves a special mention, it was divine. We stayed in Le Cocon gîte on the ground floor of the architect-designed house. The bedding and linens were particularly good, and the gîte itself is superb. If you don't feel like cooking despite the gîte's excellent amenities, Christelle can provide meal trays or serve dinner. She's a very talented cook. This is a peaceful place to recharge, though keep your eyes open on the narrow streets near the church when you arrive, so you don't scratch your car just before reaching your destination. Thanks again, Christelle, for such a wonderful weekend. As we say where you're from, it was “really great.” Looking forward to coming back, Gérard and his “better half”

After several hours on the road, the Nordic bath was just what I needed. Thank you, Christelle, for the warm welcome and homemade lemonade. The rooms and studio, which is more like a one-bedroom apartment, were both spotless and spacious. A lovely place to stop and unwind if you're in the area.
