The rooftop restaurant was superb, with a great range at the breakfast buffet and good a la carte and dinner choices. Staff and amenities were fantastic, especially Sebastian, Sarah, and Yamin. I arrived before check-in, got an unexpected upgrade, and was allowed into my room right away. The place looked as pictured, and everything was neat, tidy, and clean from what I saw. It’s far from the city sights, but the metro is just around the corner, so that wasn’t a big issue. I liked staying here to unwind away from the city's bustle. It was worth the price and time.

We stayed four nights at the start of February, and I was pleasantly surprised after reading some very bad reviews a week before we arrived. Our room with a bow window was a lovely size, as was the bathroom. The bed was big, the showers were warm, and the room was nice. We got a warm welcome at reception, and the team were helpful with our concerns. We were told extra pillows would be brought to the room that evening, but they didn't arrive. When we raised it again the next day, the hotel made up for it with free breakfast.

We had no hot water at night for the first three nights, so I couldn't bathe my toddler properly. The central air system also provided no heat, and the temperature was capped at 23°C, leaving the room uncomfortably cold. On the third night we found three cockroaches. Housekeeping only comes every three nights, which could be acceptable if the cleaning were thorough, but the room suggested it wasn't. They moved us to another room on the fourth night, but after 8:00 PM there was again no hot water. The hotel offered no fix, plan, or compensation. They said the temperature was too low and the pipes had frozen. I find that excuse unacceptable. For a hotel of this size, letting outdoor temperatures disrupt hot water throughout the building points to a serious failure in facilities management. The restaurant's brunch and view were the only redeeming parts. The service felt dismissive and unwelcoming. The morning host or bartender was repeatedly rude and spoke harshly to my family. If staff are unhappy in their roles, they shouldn't take it out on guests. I don't travel often, but I expect basic, acceptable living conditions at a hotel. This was by far the worst hotel stay I've had. The management, service, and conditions fell well below a reasonable standard, especially for anyone expecting comfort. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Future guests should avoid it and pay a little more for somewhere that meets basic hospitality and comfort standards.

After three stays with my daughter without any problems, this was a very disappointing experience. We checked out on 16.2.26 at around 8.30am to enjoy our last day in Paris. The young man at reception immediately asked how we planned to get home. We said we'd take the RERB train to CDG, and he told us the line wasn't working because someone had fallen on the tracks. I said the problem might be sorted by the time we flew, but he then said that even if it was, works on the line would continue until April. He quickly showed us a page on the computer in French that supposedly said the line wasn't running, then offered to book a taxi for 79 euro. I couldn't afford that and asked about buses. He said the bus would take more than two hours and showed us a large document listing all the connections we would need, making the trip look impossible for a tourist. I asked about the bus that takes an hour from St Denis, and he said it wasn't operating, then offered a taxi again. By then I was suspicious that we were being steered toward an expensive cab. I made my own enquiries at two metro stations, where staff checked their systems and said I'd been misled: the line was clear and trains to CDG were running. I feel the receptionist lied for his own gain, perhaps because he has a private arrangement that pays him commission for taxi bookings. It made us late for our last day of sightseeing while we checked what he'd told us, and left us feeling we couldn't trust the hotel staff. I'm very disappointed and angry. We've used the hotel three times, been happy before, and usually found the staff wonderful and helpful. But it seems there is a bad egg there who needs to be spoken to. I wonder how many other vulnerable customers have been duped by his misinformation and lies.

The rooftop bar and restaurant has a great Eiffel Tower view, and breakfast costs £15 per person if you haven't booked it with your stay. I thought it was worth the price. For the money, this is an amazing deal. It’s a reliable chain hotel, with courteous staff and neat rooms that are cleaned regularly. The room has a quite large TV with Chromecast and local cable channels. There are no lockers, so bring a lockable suitcase if that concerns you. All the staff seemed trustworthy and were very nice. We left all our devices unlocked, and they were still untouched after the rest of the room was cleaned. One side of the hotel has an Eiffel Tower view and the other doesn't. I'm guessing the cheaper rooms are all on the other side, though it might come down to luck, so you may want to check when booking. Public transport by bus, tram, and metro is within walking distance, as are McDonals and Carrefour for groceries. I had a great stay.
