The breakfasts Alison cooked were a real treat, and she even took me to the local market and nearby villages. I spent five wonderful days with her and will be back again this year. The bed was so comfortable that I still think about it. I slept better than ever, with church bells to fall asleep to and the same bells greeting me in the morning. I loved it.

The place has a distinctive layout and was a pleasure to stay in. Alison was attentive to everything her guests wanted, and made the stay feel like a little corner of paradise.

The garden pool was a lovely way to cool off, and the place is just 5 minutes from Varen and 15 minutes from St. Antonin. Alison greeted us warmly, everything was spotless, and breakfast was generous. Highly recommended.

It has an elegant English feel, and the hostess is charming. Staying here is like stepping into a classic English setting worthy of Miss Marple, while still being in France.
