Château des Varennes

The indoor reception rooms saved the day when the weather let us down, and the cocktail hour felt warm and cozy. We fell for this château as a wedding venue in October, and everything else was perfect too. Elsa gave us great advice, helped us through the planning, and suggested fantastic professionals like the DJ and photographer, which made choosing them easier. Having accommodations right there was a real bonus. The château rooms are beautiful, the cottages were perfect, and everything was spotless and well maintained. We came away with unforgettable memories of a magical weekend.

There was comfortable accommodation for all our family and friends, and the setting was magnificent. We celebrated our wedding in this charming house and made memories we'll never forget. Thanks to Elsa for being available throughout the planning, from our first visit right through to the big day.

The swimming pool and on-site accommodation meant we could stretch the celebration into a stay with family and friends. Antoine and I had a wonderful time at our wedding at Château des Varennes. Elsa welcomed us warmly and was incredibly helpful before and during the wedding, with great advice, especially when the weather was unpredictable. She was flexible too, letting us arrive earlier, for example. The traditional Toulouse brickwork and valley views made a magnificent setting. Thank you for four wonderful days we'll never forget.

The peaceful setting was a highlight, with a lovely view across the fields to the horses in the early morning. We stayed in a lodge, though the beautiful rooms were tempting too. There are a few small things that could be improved, nothing serious. They warmly welcomed us despite our late arrival and kindly let us stay an extra night, even though a wedding was being planned and it wasn't possible. That generosity is why I gave five stars. I highly recommend it.
