The surroundings are beautiful, and there are plenty of horses to rent. The rooms have a nice ranch feel and the whole place has a western touch. A good fit for horse trips, and also for hikers or backpackers traveling with a donkey.

There’s a huge mix of things to try here: hiking, canoeing, horse riding, dog cart pulling, the children’s educational farm, caves, paragliding, and more. If you’re curious or adventurous, you’ll find plenty to do. It’s also a great spot for a proper break from everyday life, especially if horses, ranch life, mountains and country music are your thing. You can stay for a night or a whole week, and I don’t think you’ll be disappointed by the ranch Pow Grayon or the region.

The people at the ranch are lovely, and the food is like a dream. Such a beautiful spot in Vercors, and life there feels like a dream too.

I loved spending time with the other guests, and I’ll be back soon. Next time, I’m hoping to try a horseback riding excursion with Damien. Karine and Damien are so kind and relaxed, with a gentle way of putting people first. Their love of nature and animals really comes through. The place feels authentic and welcoming, and the food is both delicious and filling. A huge thank you to you both for making us feel so welcome! ❤️❤️❤️

People say you arrive without knowing what to expect and then don’t want to leave. After three days, I understood why, it was easy to fall in love with the place. What stayed with me most was getting to know the horses and building a connection with them. You don’t have to ride or even be passionate about horses to see that every one has its own story, past and temperament, and a big heart. I really did feel immersed in the world of Spirit, the stallion of the plains. Thank you, Damien and Karine. Lisa and I will definitely be back soon.
