The room had a kitchen and air conditioning, and parking was right on site. The landlady was very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was good, and the pool was well maintained and always available to use.

The kitchen had everything needed for cooking, and there’s a pool outside with loungers for swimming or sunbathing. The studio is roomy and has a lovely terrace. There’s no air conditioning, though you can ask for a fan; there’s also no hairdryer or shower gel. The owner runs the place herself and is very kind and friendly, and she makes a delicious breakfast.

Monique made the stay feel perfect. She looks after you so well, and her breakfasts are fantastic, with homemade jam and orange juice plus seasonal fruit always available. The room has good Wi-Fi throughout, and private access gives you freedom. It’s also a great base for visiting the Luberon. Monique can suggest places to see around Venasque.

The cottages are quiet and well equipped, and it’s a really beautiful place. I had a very pleasant stay, thanks in large part to Monique, who was an exceptional host. Internet was the weak spot: there’s no Wi-Fi and the connection was poor.
