Chateau Saint-Martin & Spa

We had a spacious suite with panoramic views across Vence, and the property is beautiful with great service. The hilltop setting is somewhat isolated, though I wouldn't call that a negative; getting to other towns just took a bit longer. Dinner was a little disappointing: the dishes were ordinary and the tables are packed close together. The bar food was better.

The balconies gave us magnificent views, breakfast on the outdoor terrace was wonderful, and the jacuzzi by the spa felt dreamy. We only managed two nights because of our schedule and the hotel's privatization, but I could easily have stayed longer. We wished we could have ended our France trip here, with a little rest and relaxation. The property, service, and food were all amazing. We usually go out to explore nearby towns instead of eating at the hotel, but this restaurant was an exception. It was the best dinner of our two-week trip. Thank you, Chateau Saint-Martin, for such warm hospitality.

We spent four nights here as a couple and loved the experience. The hotel was peaceful and well kept, the room spotless and comfortable, and the staff were especially friendly and helpful. Meals were delicious, full of flavor, and beautifully presented, with attentive service. We didn't use the spa or massage services and honestly wish we had, they looked amazing. For the money, it felt like excellent value and one of our best hotel stays in years. Many thanks to the whole team, we'd highly recommend it.

We loved getting away from the summer crowds in Nice, which were far too much. The hotel's decor is impeccable, the staff professional and courteous, and the food delicious. Our spa visit was mixed: my treatment was great, but a mosquito in the room kept biting the massage therapist during my husband's treatment. They didn't let her pause or move rooms, so for the price it didn't feel as luxurious as it should have.
