La Colline De Vence

The quiet and cool air were such a relief, even with temperatures above 30 degrees, and the pool was a welcome extra. Julien and his wife made us feel completely at home, and the breakfast was wonderful. Everything we needed was there. Vence is about a 20-minute walk away, with lovely restaurants, cafés, and bakeries. We’re so grateful to our hosts for looking after us so thoughtfully.

We spent four nights here while attending a wedding nearby, and Julien made us feel very welcome. He was kind, paid attention to our requests, and brought out a generous breakfast each morning. The rooms, pool, and breakfast area were clean, and I especially appreciated the outdoor gym. The views are lovely too. The walk down the hill is manageable if you're even a little active, though the path is rocky, so take your time. Ubers back up were really cheap, or you can walk if you feel like it. La Colline is easy to recommend.

There are several outdoor spots to sit and enjoy the peaceful hillside setting, and the rooms are comfortable, well equipped, and have beautiful views. Julien is attentive, and breakfast is served beside the pool in the morning. A lovely family-run place just north of Vence's city center. I highly recommend la Colline de Vence.

The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with a little fridge for wine, water, or food, plus a kettle for tea. Breakfast was delicious and enormous, and the pool and views were wonderful. We spent four nights at La Colline De Vence in July and had such a good time. Julian and his mum were kind, helpful hosts, and Julian shared useful ideas for places to visit and eat. Laika, their Scottish terrier, is an absolute delight, very relaxed and friendly if you like dogs. I didn't want to leave and would be thrilled to come back.
