For 30 years, I kept returning now and then for the refined setting and incredible view, and because the prices weren’t too exorbitant. So I was very sad to hear that the rather elderly owner sold the villa in mid-2025. It hasn’t been listed online since, and I don’t know what will happen to it.

We visited Villa Lorraine twice. In summer, we stayed in the Chagall apartment and enjoyed it very much. We came back at Easter and were in the ground-floor apartment. The pool was filled at that time of year, but the water wasn’t heated.
