Caroline (Carowine), a wine expert, led the tasting included with our Staycation booking. She introduced us to a stunning selection of white, champagne, rosé, and red wines, and helped us pick out the aromas and flavors in an educational way. We spent the night in the Provençal suite Aquaverde, which was magnificent, with elegant interior decor, a well by the bed, and an all-stone bathroom. (You could even throw your wife in the well if she talks too much!) The setting in Venelles, a typical Provençal village, is sublime. Breakfast was magnificent too, especially the homemade apple tart, which I highly recommend if you're in the area.

The lady who looks after breakfast and the rooms is incredibly kind. Whenever I stay, she tells me stories about the place and how it was created, and I really enjoy that. The rooms are carved out of stone, the decor is beautiful, and they have air conditioning. It's so peaceful here, and this unique place makes me forget I'm away for work. I travel all over France for work, and rarely leave reviews, but places like this deserve one. Thanks so much. You've gained a customer, I'll be back!

The woman there was incredibly kind, and we were looked after so well at breakfast. Our room was superb, with a really comfortable bed, and the lovely little balcony and bar were great. Highly recommend!

Breakfast was a real treat and a great way to start the day. We had a lovely stay, with a warm welcome from staff who were professional and attentive to what we needed. The location is perfect, and our spacious room was clean and tastefully decorated. We highly recommend this place and will happily return on our next visit.

We stayed for three nights with our three children, aged 3, 4 and 10. The family suite was spacious, very clean, and beautifully decorated. The person on site was kind, professional, attentive, helpful, and available at any time. Thank you, I highly recommend it.
