A quiet residential area, just 500 metres from the beach, with a lovely little house that’s well looked after. I appreciate the place, and it’s even nicer out of season.

The owner was super helpful, and the garden is beautiful, especially in spring and summer, I imagine. This is a romantic little all-wood cabin apartment with basic amenities, enough for a few days if you’re not planning to spend much time indoors. We weren’t impressed with the housekeeping: there were used tissues inside one of the pillows. Cooking was also a bit tricky because of the induction stove.

The owner cancelled our Booking.com reservation on Sunday, March 24th, saying it was due to overbooking. We’d booked on March 14th, paid in full that same day, and were due to arrive March 29th, so the cancellation came only a few days before our stay and was entirely his fault. I’ve noticed this gentleman advertises rock-bottom rates to bring in customers and fill the place, then cancels if he gets the chance to rent for longer or at a better price. He’s probably using several booking platforms. Cyclists, and anyone else looking for a host who won’t leave you stranded just before arrival, should look elsewhere.

We had an excellent stay in the cabin, which was very well equipped. Having the pool to relax in made us very happy, and Alex, the owner, was attentive and helpful.
