The Château itself is gorgeous, and the restaurant’s setting is hard to beat. But we left really unhappy with how the meal went. The food was disappointing, portions were small, and some dishes arrived cold after a very long wait. When we pointed out an error with our order, the server just shrugged instead of apologizing or sorting it out. We also seem to have paid the wrong bill. The manager’s wife then argued with us about how we understood certain dishes, and our feedback wasn’t received well. It’s a shame to see such a beautiful place run this poorly.

It took two and a half hours for our meal to arrive. Being told that was because everything is cooked fresh felt insulting, especially with no apology. The owner came across as unbelievably arrogant. I would not recommend this place.

Case, thanks for such a lovely visit. The food was delightful, and the place felt beautiful, friendly, and idyllic. We’ll be back soon, and I’d highly recommend it.

The bistro burgers are excellent, and the food is very good in general. There’s always a cheerful team there to welcome you.

The room was lovely and very clean, and breakfast was excellent. It’s a fantastic old chateau, and I’ll definitely return. Next time I plan to stay longer.
