Chateau de Jalesnes

Our three day wedding celebration turned out even better than we'd hoped after a year of planning. We chose Chateau de Jalesnes because it has several different spaces across the house and grounds, so each part of the celebration had its own spot and there were backup options for bad weather. All our guests could stay on site for three nights, and the package covered nearly everything; the coordinator also helped us find vendors for the rest. It's a historic, stunning place, yet the interior feels relaxed and welcoming. I highly recommend it for a wedding or another event, and I'm already trying to think of a reason to bring our friends and family back.

Bella is really cute, and the staff were the best, so gracious, welcoming, and organized throughout our wedding. We had a perfect day there and would recommend people check it out.

Bella, the sweet resident dog, added to the charm of our stay at this family-run estate. The team was kind, thoughtful, and clearly cared about making the whole experience special. Katy found and brought to life the decor details I had in mind, and when I asked about mini golf for cocktail hour, the assistant manager's stepdad built a full course for us. David, the owner, even arranged golf and transportation for my husband and his friends the day before the wedding. Fireworks and other special touches were easy to arrange too. As a bride who owns an event management company, I went in with plenty of expectations and industry experience, and Château de Jalesnes exceeded them all. The place is elegant, historic and romantic, with beautiful backdrops everywhere. Our photos look like they belong in Vogue. The package included the ceremony and reception, most of the food and drink including the bar, cake, flowers, live music, a champagne tower and rooms for all our guests. It was a fairytale, and also a very smart business decision, especially compared with a similar venue in the U.S. Thank you for the most magical week of our lives. Couples considering it should get their date secured.

I’ve heard plenty of wedding planning horror stories from friends, but our experience here was easy and low stress from beginning to end. My husband and I got married at Château de Jalesnes a month ago and were so happy with everything, from the food and rooms to the location and grounds. If you're even thinking about a castle wedding, I highly recommend this place.
