The garden is a wonderfully quiet retreat, with a lovely pool and art pieces tucked around it. The flowers and herbs smell lovely, and the Lot valley view is beautiful. Photos might make it all look like a postcard, but they can't show the friendly atmosphere. Inside, the rooms are spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated, as is the rest of the house. The hosts, Xavier and Jair, have clearly put so much care and passion into this place. Every day they made one of the most personal breakfasts I've ever had. Their work and love in creating it deserve real respect. I've traveled all over the world and stayed in plenty of hotels and similar places, and this was the best place I've ever had the pleasure, or really the privilege, of staying for a few summer holiday days. I knew within minutes of arriving that I'd write a review, even though I've only written two before. Calling it nice, very good, or even great doesn't come close. This is the easiest recommendation I've ever made, and I mean it wholeheartedly. Rodrigo

The room was exceptionally well laid out, modern, and beautiful. We spent one night at the La Cabana and had a great experience. The staff were more than charming, and our Charcuterie dinner was something special and delicious.

Our hosts worked hard to make everything just right, and they speak English, French, Portuguese, and probably a few more languages. Staying there felt like staying with friends. This lovely venue is also an art gallery for Jair, whose extraordinary paintings, from Renoir to Picasso to Warhol, decorate the walls. It's a wonderful 17th-century farmhouse, decorated with real taste and style. Our spacious room was called the Azul room and looked over the beautiful garden and huge swimming pool. Even in the blistering July heat it stayed cool and comfortable without AC, and the bathroom was ultra modern.

The hosts were exceptionally welcoming, friendly, and helpful, which made our stay special. Breakfast was scrumptious, with local products, organic eggs straight from their chickens, jams, and homemade fresh cakes and bread. The property is very fairly priced too. We stayed in this lovingly restored 18th-century house. Our muted-hue room had thoughtful details and plenty of space, with lovely views and a little terrace overlooking the magnificent gardens. The bathroom was gorgeous, with a big Italian shower. There's also a huge heated pool, a real bonus in late spring or early autumn. We would definitely recommend it.

A lovely place to unwind by the heated pool with a book, or chill out in the library with a glass of wine. The gardens are stunning, and Jair's artwork and sculptures add to the villa. Breakfast is a banquet you won't forget. Beautiful villages, hiking, and vineyards are all nearby, and the place is LGBTQ friendly. It's an amazing little boutique guest house in the mid Pyrenees, run by a charming couple, Xavier & Jair. They've thought of every little detail to make a vacation memorable. I can't recommend it enough!
