Le Logis Versaillais

The team on site were friendly and helpful, but we had a disappointing end to our stay: we accidentally left our child’s toy behind. Staff contacted us about it, and we offered to pay the shipping, but then they stopped replying. The location itself is great, just a short walk from the Château. The area was quiet, though sounds from neighboring apartments came through easily because the insulation between units was poor. Our “Premium” apartment for five felt cramped, more like a somewhat larger studio than a proper apartment. There were no separate rooms and limited space. We made it work, but only one of the sleeping options was genuinely comfortable. The two sofa beds were less comfortable and squeaked. The bathroom was in poor shape, with a lot of damp, ceiling stains, and an unpleasant smell. The shower drained badly, leaving a pool of water that never fully cleared, so each shower started with standing in the previous water.

The apartment had everything we needed, even a clothes airer, and it was spacious, clean, and quiet. The beds were comfy too. When we arrived soaked from walking from the station in the rain, the staff member who met us gave me an expresso ❤️ This was the best place we’ve stayed in Europe so far, and I’d come back in a heartbeat 👍

The apartments are clean, spacious, and well appointed, very close to the Palace of Versailles and Metro. Highly recommend, and I’d stay here again. One tip for arrival: call the front desk so someone can find you at the gate, since that part isn’t clearly explained.

The apartment was furnished and equipped wonderfully. We did have a couple of snags. The parking spot couldn’t fit the SUV Hertz rented us, and it took us more than 20 minutes to get the car into a street space. We were also glad to see a washer/dryer in the unit, but with no manual we couldn’t figure it out and ended up drying our clothes on too high a heat setting.
