The best part of our stay was how at ease Madeleine and Alain Boursy made us feel. They chatted with us like family, suggested places to go and how to reach them, and offered to help with tour and dinner bookings. Madeleine even cooked us dinner on arrival, which was delicious and especially welcome after a long travel day. The breakfasts were wonderful, too. Their guest house is modern, beautiful, and clean, with everything we needed. It's tucked into the Médoc wine country and feels wonderfully quiet, comfortable, and relaxing. We loved meeting and talking with Madeleine and Alain, and had such a delightful time there. Merci beaucoup!

Madeleine made our two days at Chateau La Graviere feel special with her wonderful hospitality and care. I loved the Bordeaux area, its castles and wine, but the welcome here was the best part of the trip. Breakfast was amazing, with homemade jams, omelettes, and orange juice. We also had the honor of tasting the house wine, which I personally thought was excellent. I'm almost speechless. Thanks so much, and we hope to come back soon.

We were especially glad Madeline helped us plan a visit to Chateau Leoville Poyferre, an elegant estate winery we thoroughly enjoyed. This lovely Chateau Bed & Breakfast is well placed for exploring wineries around the popular Medoc area. The room was clean and comfortable, and the property is impeccable, with plenty for guests to enjoy. Bordeaux city center and the airport are about an hour away. The quiet estate, lovely countryside, vineyards, wineries, small town life, fresh food, delicious breakfast, and welcoming local people make it easy to want to stay a few extra days. Highly recommend, and I hope to book again.

The rooms and the whole place are beautiful, and the location is lovely too. Madeleine and Alain are very friendly and patient with visitors speaking poor French. Their English is great. Highly recommended.

I was there on a business trip, but I'm already looking forward to bringing my family back. This charming, spacious Bed & Breakfast near Pauillac and St Estephe is run by a lovely family. The rooms have plenty of space, and the larger ones include a kitchenette. The owners make breakfast with fresh croissant and homemade jam. Thanks, Madeleine and Alain, for a great stay!
