Our last evening was memorable, and even romantic, with dinner in the garden as the sun set over the vines. We had excellent charcuterie, cheese, and a Medoc wine selected from a nearby Chateau, followed by a tremendous dessert made again with fruit from the garden. Breakfast was just as good: freshly baked croissants and a baquette or ficelle, tasty jams made from garden fruit, and excellent coffee. The rooms were extremely quiet and comfortable. The place is well located next door to a winery, minutes from St Estephe and perhaps 10 from Pauillac. The small town is worth a walk, with a 'Museum on the Wall to learn local history, plus several stores and food options close by on foot. There's also a pretty garden with hammocks and a pool, and the hosts are tremendous. Very reasonable price.

JP was a charming and helpful host at this rustic, idyllic former farmhouse in the Pauillac countryside. It's a perfect base for exploring the vineyards nearby.

We only stayed three nights, but it was a pleasure. The owners were polite and helpful, and the place was nice and quiet. My daughters had fun in the swimming pool too. Fully recommended.

The host was so kind and friendly, and we had a wonderful stay. Our room was individually and beautifully decorated, with a comfortable bed, and breakfast was a lovely French spread. The romantic château sits in a beautiful garden in a prime location. We'd love to return. Thank you so much, J.P.!

JP was very friendly and knows the Médoc region inside out, so his excursion tips were great. We were delighted with our stay: comfortable beds, guaranteed peace and quiet, and a stylish château surrounded by a large, well-kept garden and pool area.
