Camping Les Pres

Camille is incredibly kind, and I love the campsite's simple, basic setup. I stayed two nights in a tent, surrounded by nature in a fantastic spot. There were only a few campers, so it felt peaceful, away from the crowds. As the description says, a horse wanders around freely and there are two very friendly dogs, lovely if you enjoy having them around. I'll definitely go back! Silvia

We didn't stay and turned around to leave, which is such a shame for the residents. The campervan pitches had horse manure on them, and three dogs were running loose. There was a pile of dirty dishes at reception, and the toilets and showers were filthy. We couldn't find reception at all, even after searching the whole campsite. I hope this review helps.

We stayed for about two weeks and had a wonderful holiday. It's a small, quiet campsite surrounded by nature, with just a few large, well-shaded pitches for tents. Camille welcomed us warmly, along with her two dogs and the horse wandering freely around the site 🤗. The facilities are quite dated, and the cleanliness and tidiness could be better, but we were able to overlook that.

Avoid this place. The manager said the room we booked on Booking.com was no longer available and offered us a tent instead. When we asked if it got cold at night, she basically told us to get lost: "Don't come to the Hautes-Alpes if you're afraid of being cold!" It's high time you found another job, madam!
