Edna and Jean-Claude were wonderful hosts, and dinner there is a lasting memory from our trip. We loved staying with Edna. The rooms are basic but comfortable, and the location is fantastic for exploring the Dordogne valley, including the Jardins of Marqueyssac. There's good internet and Wi-Fi, plus a pool. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

A really good B&B.

It's a peaceful, pleasant spot with views of the medieval castles of the Périgord Noir, and the host is friendly and available. The generous breakfast is a good extra for a stay here. As with any guesthouse, you can hear and feel your room neighbors nearby. The sound insulation is poor, and the room is small and awkwardly laid out.

We booked for two and sent a €30 deposit by cheque, which was cashed. When we arrived, the "manager" said she'd just given our room to other guests who had got there before us. We were practically thrown out, honestly! Professionalism and responsibility: 0/20. We're very glad we found a room with real hosts nearby and didn't pay for this kind of "service".

The hosts are truly lovely, and the house has superb views of the castles. It's quiet and tucked away. After a day of exploring, the pool and spa were a real bonus.
