Le Moulin des Marionnettes

We found a quiet, welcoming place with a vintage feel 🥰, and had a perfect night with my husband and our four-month-old daughter. There was a crib for her, and she slept peacefully. Breakfast was delicious and served in a cozy setting. The price was very affordable, too. A lovely choice if you're after somewhere warm and welcoming that feels removed from the usual rush.

The puppet workshop and park are full of surprises, with playful trails and activities that got my little girl creating, from making a puppet to putting on a theater show. She loved it, and I did too. Florence is clearly passionate, and takes time to explain all about puppets. We were also treated to a performance by the resident fairy at the end of a magical afternoon. A place that delights both children and adults. Thanks for the warm welcome!

Our grandson forgot all about asking if we were there yet as soon as we arrived, even with the rain. We were warmly welcomed at the Moulin, then saw a show and visited the beautiful, if wet, park. He made a puppet inspired by Hindu imagery, complete with a third eye on its forehead. It was a wonderful afternoon together, and a fun reminder that even this ancient art keeps changing. Go see it, grandparents will enjoy it too!

My grandson and I had a lovely time at the mill, which still has its authentic charm. The children can do a fun activity around the seven deadly sins and then watch a puppet show. You can also spend an hour making your own puppet, and the whole visit takes about three hours with children. The price is reasonable, and the staff member caring for the kids was lovely. Well worth a visit!
