The staff made the biggest difference during my five months there. They were professional, genuinely helpful, and made me feel at home instead of like a guest in a commercial building. I was there for a work assignment from August through December 2016, and the hotel became my sanctuary. The restaurant right beside the hotel, on the premises, was part of my routine. I ate there almost every evening, and both the food and atmosphere made long workdays easier. The hotel also changed with the seasons. August was lively, with busy common areas and a lot of energy, while the colder months brought a warm, quiet room that felt well insulated after a chilly day on site. I got to experience the property from late summer through winter, and it kept impressing me. It worked well for a long professional stay, with a social feel and plenty of comfort.

We spent the day relaxing in the garden with drinks and snacks, taking in the view and atmosphere. Dinner next door was good, and the hotel bed was great to come back to. The staff were really friendly too. The location and rooms were just what we needed for a restful stay, and the restaurant was good.

The restaurant food and wine were below average, and the staff there were rude. In the rooms, the carpet was dirty and felt disgusting underfoot, while the bedding was polyester. They look like they haven't been updated since the 1970s. This hotel really needs a major renovation.

We stopped here during our trip through France and had a lovely stay. The husband and wife team were great, and they made us feel that nothing was too much trouble. We also enjoyed the chateau and its spacious private garden, where we had our Sunday picnic. Thanks for making the visit so pleasurable. Steve & Ewelina - UK

We'd be happy to stay here again. The chateau was lovely, the staff welcoming and helpful, and the restaurant superb. Breakfast was better than at the other places we stayed. We did lose power briefly, but the staff were very apologetic.
