Le Petit Villandry

We spent three nights here while cycling along the Loire, with the Chateau Villandry next on our itinerary and a ride to the Chateau at Azay Le Rideau the following day. Le Petit Villandry is right beside the Chateau grounds, with lovely gardens of its own and a heated pool that felt great after a day riding. Our cottage was quiet and fully equipped, and there was secure indoor bike storage with power for e-bikes. Renata was a consummate host. Perfect location, and we'll definitely come back.

We'd happily recommend this place to anyone staying in the area. It's clean, beautifully presented, and well located, with restaurants, a bakery, and the Chateau de Villandry all a short walk away. We had a lovely seven nights at Petit Villandry. Renata was a brilliant, accommodating host for our family, and the two prepared meals we booked with her were delicious.

We were lucky to come across this place. Renata was a wonderful hostess, attentive in a natural way, and made us feel like valued guests and part of the family. She also shared useful information about local attractions. The garden was beautifully designed and full of flowers, with a view over Chateau Villandry and its gardens. We especially appreciated being able to unwind in the salt water pool.

We completely unwound over our four nights here, even with our 1.5-year-old son along, which says a lot. The garden is lovely, full of plants, seating spots, and a delightful heated pool. Renata is a great cook, considerate and flexible, and made sure we had everything we needed. Le Petit Villandry is ideally placed opposite Villandry Castle, near restaurants and the Loire cycle path. A dream place to stay.
