The Bird Park right beside the site is well worth seeing, and we took the train to Lyon from the nearby station. There are cycle routes too, mostly along quiet lanes, so there's plenty to explore in the region. Back at the campsite, the pitches are great, with water and drainage on site and plenty of shade if you want it. The pool is a nice way to cool off, though it's above ground and only 1.20 deep. Showers and other facilities were clean and well kept, and the staff were friendly and helpful, with good English. Fabulous place. We'll return.

There are lots of pitches at this peaceful, green site. The toilets look a little dated, but they're very clean and tidy.

The restaurant was closed because they didn't have enough staff, which was a shame. The sanitary facilities, though, were clean and spacious. The shower temperature was just right for me, but it can't be adjusted, so others might find it too hot. I'm not sure if that changes when several people are showering at once. The nearby bird park is worth a visit, but be prepared to hear birds at night. On May 21st, the girl at reception gave us a super friendly, helpful welcome and spoke perfect English.

The camping pitches are a good size, though some are divided by thorny hedges. At night, youths sometimes ride small motorcycles around outside and make noise. There's one toilet and shower area for everyone, and there are no toilet seats, maybe that's the French standard? It was very clean and not worn out. Friendly staff, and the campsite is right beside the bird park. Cool place.

The kids loved the swimming pool, and the food and drinks at the bar/restaurant seemed reasonably priced. Our spacious pitch and the facilities were good, and everything appeared clean and tidy. Great campsite.
