There are restaurants not too far away, and there’s plenty of parking. It’s quiet and clean, with good value for the price. I’d recommend it for a solo trip or a couple.

At checkout, the manager, who had seemed alright on the first day, wrote a sum in pencil on a piece of paper and tried to charge us again for the nights we’d already prepaid. No one had explained any supposed reservation system error to us. If they had, we would have understood the confusion. The carpet smelled sour, and one corner had a smell like something had died and soiled its pants. There’s no air conditioning or bathroom ventilation, and the shower curtain was crusty and moldy. Cosy is cheap, but I’d keep driving and look elsewhere.

For a long trip, it’s okay. The breakfast is terrible, though, and I’d go somewhere else.

The hosting was good and the place was clean. The bed could be better.
