The breakfast was at whatever time suited us, and came with fresh coffee, home-baked pastries, and homemade fig jam. The couple chatted with us as they served it in their house. The night before, they welcomed us warmly through their garage and private garden, then showed us to a cozy apartment with room for four and a small kitchenette. We ate dinner out at a pizza place and were given a key to the back porch. A very relaxing stay!

The owners were so kind and helpful, and gave us great tips for exploring the area. The room was quiet and well equipped, and there’s a lovely little garden. We also got a generous breakfast and a really warm welcome. If you’re passing through Objat, I highly recommend the Manoir de Lascaux.

It’s easy to get to both the countryside and the large city of Brive from here, so there are plenty of different ways to explore. The welcome was great, and the surroundings are lovely to visit.
