The breakfast beneath the vines was lovely, and the rooms have their own quirky charm. We found the staff warm, friendly, and helpful throughout. Coming back somewhere can sometimes be a letdown, but this place still feels like a charming, rustic B&B tucked away in rural France. If that authentic countryside feel is what you’re after, you’ll love it.

We had a fantastic stay and hope to return someday. The valley view is amazing, and the staff were very helpful. Be sure to book the restaurant. It’s a wonderful spot for a night or two.

The restaurant was the highlight for me. It’s in a separate building up the hill, and the dishes were delicious, carefully put together, and much more refined than I’d have expected in such a place. I can’t say whether “haute cuisine” is the technically correct label, since that’s outside my expertise, but the quality was definitely high. The property itself is a little remote and very peaceful, with a cosy, rustic feel and kind, friendly staff.

The area is lovely, and the village is beautiful. We wanted somewhere rustic, but the place felt extremely dated, especially the common areas, and the service was very limited. For what it offers, it was far too expensive.

We waited four years before coming back for our second visit, and we’re glad we did. It’s a fabulous, well-run hotel with an excellent restaurant, and we haven’t been disappointed.
