Breakfast even included homemade medieval gingerbread, which was a lovely surprise. The rooms are very comfortable, right in the small town of Villefranche-de-Rouergue, with easy parking next door. This charming bed and breakfast has a wonderfully warm welcome. Your hosts are passionate about medieval history and happy to share it. The whole "Tour Mord Lion" is furnished and decorated in medieval style with great taste, while still offering modern comforts. Their suggestions make it an ideal starting point for exploring southern Aveyron and its fortified villages.

We spent a night in the magnificent Babetz and Paul tower, and it felt like a wonderful trip back in time. The "Templar" room was decorated to match the theme and was comfortable. A hearty homemade breakfast and a warm welcome from our passionate hosts made the stay. I highly recommend it.

The owners were fantastic, and we had a magnificent romantic weekend in the wonderful medieval tower, the Mort-Lion. Breakfast was generous and served at the table in a medieval style. It included delicious brioches made by Paul, the owner, and brought in a closed basket under a cloth to keep them warm. This is a magical place, highly recommended.
