Dinner was a real highlight. The hotel serves a set menu of traditional southern French food, and the owners introduced me to local specialties. They were also so helpful with practical things, even arranging taxis, and did their best to communicate despite my not speaking French. The room was warm, with a very comfortable bed, toiletries, and linen provided. I liked the carefully kept rustic touches, from the wooden furniture to the vintage wallpaper. It felt homey, the owners were lovely, and the stay was wonderful for an affordable price.

We found a room for three at an unbeatable price, and booking by calling the hotel directly costs less. It's a quiet place to sleep without spending much. The room certainly isn't luxurious, but it does the job. The hotel is right in the city center, which is very convenient.

The staff were welcoming and willing to accommodate us. It's got an old-fashioned feel, but it's perfectly practical. I'd take that over paying more just to get a pleasant interaction.
