Claudie, Eugene, and Elodie are a big part of why I keep returning. I’ve been lucky enough to meet them, and they’re wonderful. I’m sure the rest of the staff are just as good. The location is great, too, and the staff here are the best. My favorite place I’ve stayed in Paris.

The cleaning was the worst part. The cleaners showed up at different times, and if I was in the room, I had to leave immediately or they wouldn’t clean. Twice I asked them to come a little later or the next day, and they didn’t come. Once, after I reported it, cleaning was moved to the next day, but today another receptionist told me to speak to the manager. They didn’t even have spare clean towels. The cleaners also leave the kitchenette alone, and there isn’t even a cloth so you can clean it yourself. Some people at reception don’t speak English very well. I stayed for two months, and the rooms are old, with damaged, dirty furniture. They look very different from the photos. When I asked reception for the missing table, it took three weeks to arrive, and they only acted after the institution that booked the room for me contacted them. The kitchen has almost no utensils. There’s no soundproofing, so you hear other guests talking and cleaners shouting in the corridor. Every Saturday there’s a party across the street until 2 a.m. Terrible hotel. It doesn’t deserve even two stars.

We booked four days, but spent three of them trying to get things in our room fixed. The safe, wardrobe door, and dishwasher were all out of order when we arrived, and nobody mentioned that before or during check-in. The safe and wardrobe were eventually repaired, but the dishwasher never was. They gave us dish soap and a sponge, but the sink was clogged and wouldn’t drain. One staff member was especially rude on two occasions and didn’t take our concern seriously. The administration was poor.

There are lots of supermarkets and places to eat near the hotel, and getting around is easy since the metro station is right in front. It’s not very close to the city center, but I’d definitely stay here again.
