The room was small but comfortable, and the place was very clean. Breakfast was pretty good too. Worth the price.
The room was spotless and had everything I needed. The staff were so friendly and did a lot to make the stay comfortable. I had a wonderful time at Hotel F1 villemoble, would happily stay again and recommend it.
Free Wi-Fi was available, and there was a six-digit code to get into each room. The rooms themselves were tiny, and there are no elevators. At each bed there’s a light, a USB socket, and a little net to hold your phone overnight. Mine didn’t work, though the other ones in the room did. The shared bathroom area had two toilets and two showers. The showers were dirty, wet, and hairy, and the toilet seat was wet every time. I couldn’t tell whether it was water or pee. The tap is in the room, and they don’t provide soap. Breakfast was basic: sliced bread, buns, butter, jam, chocolate spread, honey, coffee, and juice from cartons. It was okay, and the employee serving it was nice. You can use two microwaves for free, but the two vending machines don’t take cards. Check-in was quick, which was nice. For a few nights on a tight budget, it can work, as long as you don’t expect much.
The shared facilities were as clean as they could be, and the room was tidy with a comfortable bed. There were no noise problems. We stayed in a room with six people on a Saturday in August, and it was really cheap for all six of us. Getting there and checking in after 9pm were both easy. I’d highly recommend it and would stay again if I’m in Paris.
I’ve travelled to over 30 countries, and this was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. I had told them a month ahead that I’d arrive around midnight, and they said I could enter my reservation number at the front door to get the room number and code. The number didn’t work, so I called the emergency line. A worker eventually came out around 1am or later and told me I was too late and my reservation had been cancelled. I showed him the booking.com message about my late arrival, but he laughed at me and said the arrival time had been confirmed in September, so it was no longer valid. I was crying alone in a foreign country in the middle of the night. Eventually, he offered me a dirty room that hadn’t been cleaned, saying, “why should I put someone else out of a room just for you?” He did not offer to clean it. Around 1:30am, still crying and getting no help, I said I wouldn’t pay to stay in a dirty room and took an Uber to sleep at the airport because I was leaving in the morning. When I contacted them on booking.com, they first blamed a declined card, even though my booking confirmation said I’d pay at check-in and my cards had worked throughout the trip. They later admitted they’d made a mistake and my reservation hadn’t been properly sent to them from booking.com. I’ve used booking.com hundreds of times and travelled all over the world. They made a mistake, and rather than apologize, the worker laughed at me. booking.com apologized when I called them, but the hotel tried to blame me. Avoid this place. After reading the owner’s reply, I want to clarify that there were no screams. I didn’t raise my voice once. The staff were rude and unprofessional, laughing while I cried alone in the lobby at 1am. I didn’t force myself on anyone or anything. I had a reservation. Shame on you.
