The rooms were unbelievably small, to the point where we were just thinking about when we could get out. The toilet and bathroom were tiny too, and breakfast had very few options. I’d never imagined the rooms would be this cramped. I’ll never book here again and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone with family.

The road was dark, and we could hear people who were outside smoking and talking from inside our rooms. It was also hard to communicate, since some staff spoke only French. How are tourists who don’t speak French supposed to get by? The waiter came into our bedroom to clean while we were resting. The hotel should put all the details on its website so clients can decide whether to come. Most people don’t like staying near a cemetery. I’ll never come back.

It’s about a 15-minute train ride straight to Paris Gare du nord, though the hotel is a 25-minute walk from the train station. The roadworks started at 06:00, and the building next to Hotel Fomula 1 is being built. The hotel is noisy, with small rooms that look like a prepack building converted into a hotel. From the front you face a cemetery. Guests outside smoking and talking could be heard in the rooms. The towels were extremely small and hard, there was no hair dryer, and the rooms were very hot. Believe the reviews, they’re accurate.

The room was a little small, but it was fine as a place to sleep for our two-night stay. The price was very good value. It’s on the edge of town, easy to find and park at, with good access to a Metro/RER station.
