That garden out back was a lovely spot to sit and unwind after breakfast, which our host made really well. She also shared good places to eat and bars in the city, and made our stay at the B&B enjoyable. She's Irish originally but moved to Lille ages ago. The house is amazing and apparently the oldest in the neighborhood, you can really feel its age as you walk in. It's right beside a tram stop, though getting to the center takes about 30 minutes. Everything was fabulous apart from the bed, which wasn't very comfortable, so I can't quite give it 5/5.

Isabelle made us a wonderful breakfast, right down to the homemade jams, yogurt and cakes. The terrace and garden were lovely, and we really didn't want to leave. This beautiful pre-war building has stayed with the same family, and the whole house feels like a work of art, from the rooms to the garden, with exquisite attention to detail. Thank you!

My first time staying in a guesthouse, and I got a very warm welcome despite booking at the last minute on a Sunday evening. The room was clean and the bedding was good quality. One thing that could be better: the toilet is separate, but still within the bathroom.

The garden was beautiful, a lovely place for yoga or meditation, and public transport was close by. Our room was quiet and pleasant, with everything we needed. Isabelle greeted us with a smile and shared useful tips about local attractions. Breakfast was excellent, organic and homemade. I highly recommend it.

I've stayed at Maison du Sart twice now, and I'm sure I'll be back. It's a beautiful family home, with comfortable rooms, tasteful, individual decor and spotless cleanliness. The owner made us feel very welcome, and breakfast was homemade and convivial, served on splendid tableware. Thank you, everything was perfect.
