Le Mas de Baraud

At Mas de Baraud, there's a large grassy paddock with hay for the horses, plus a tack room for your gear. As a rider on the Berg Mountains route, I got a very warm welcome. The room was lovely and tastefully decorated, and the meals were excellent. Sophie was helpful and welcoming, and shared her experience working with horses. I highly recommend it.

It's otherwise a beautiful place, which makes the issues a shame. The advertised Wi-Fi wasn't available, so working was impossible. The owner offered us use of her terrace, but it was at least 800 meters from the cottage and not very practical. There were no pool lights for enjoying it at night. We also had to bring our own toilet paper and shower gel, since there was no single-use soap as advertised on the Airbnb page. There was an odor in the bathroom.

The Ibie valley is lovely, and the gîte was immaculate. There's a swimming pool, and the owner was incredibly friendly and helpful. The location is beautiful and peaceful, with a stunning panoramic view of the Ardèche. Absolutely perfect!!!

We highly recommend this place if you want to recharge and reconnect with yourself. The decor is lovely, mixing modern touches with the region's style, and the owner was welcoming and attentive.
