It was quiet at night, the room was very clean, and the beds were comfortable with good quality sheets. For the price, this place is excellent value, and I was completely fine with the automatic check-in and check-out. Everything else was fine too. I’d recommend it to budget-conscious travellers looking for a brief stop in a convenient spot near the highway.

The room was tiny and run down, with a bad smell, and the bathroom was in such poor shape that I didn’t even want to shower. It wasn’t that they hadn’t cleaned. You can tell they try, but the place was built with cheap materials a long time ago and has grown grimy over time. I’m fine with basic places for a stopover, but this wasn’t decent and needs more than a bottle of bleach. The surrounding area felt sketchy, too, and there were no food options nearby.

We had three small children and an elderly person with us, after driving from Manchester in England for more than 15 hours. We’d booked a family room at Premiere Classe Beziers a month ahead. It was already late in the evening and we were on our way when, with an hour left before arrival, the hotel messaged that their payment machine was having problems and they couldn’t accept us. I hoped it was a system glitch that would be fixed by the time we arrived. Instead, it turned out a rugby team was arriving and had simply been given our room. Nearby hotels were full, it was past midnight, and we barely found somewhere else to stay. We were under enormous stress and, after that incredibly long drive, nearly ended up out on the street at night without a bed. We were told at the other hotel that Premiere Classe Beziers constantly has check-in problems and many dissatisfied customers. Afterwards Premiere Classe Beziers texted to say they wouldn’t charge a fine for not checking in. Can you imagine the nerve? Booking.com still hadn’t done anything to help after five days, while another accommodation booking platform had solved a similar situation for me and credited a bonus toward new accommodation on the same day. Be careful, don’t book accommodation at this hotel.

A clean room, a good sized bed, and standard facilities that are adequate for an overnight stop on the way somewhere. The price was reasonable and the stay was good otherwise. The busy road nearby is noisy, though, and cold air comes in under the entrance door. It could do with being replaced by a draught-proof double-glazed PVC door and frame.
