The restaurant was a good option since other places are quite a drive away, and we had a nice meal there. We were just after a comfortable one-night stop, not a destination, and this wooded site suited us well. It's fairly remote along back roads, but has useful facilities, including a pool, tennis courts, an escape room and a kids' play park.

The pitches were spacious, shady and peaceful, and the grounds were lovely. It was also a beautiful place to stop on the way to Calais. The facilities were the cleanest I've seen, and kids have plenty to do, from tennis and the warm pool to the woods and great play park. Outstanding, a must-stay. Merci beaucoup! Super!

The campsite itself was pleasant and well laid out, and I was only there for one night. The showers and other facilities felt a bit old-fashioned for a four-star site. What really spoiled the night was a large group of very noisy young adults setting off the fire alarm repeatedly, playing loud music and shouting to each other. Their teachers were staying somewhere else. I understand the owners thought they'd booked for adults, so I don't blame the campsite, but it still affected my stay.

We spent two full weeks here with seven people and a trailer tent, and got the large pitch we needed. The hostess, Isabelle, and the staff were very friendly, and the atmosphere across the site was relaxed. Sanitary facilities were kept very clean all day, and the guests seemed to follow suit. There's plenty to do without leaving: pool, tennis, badminton, pétanque, trampoline, table tennis and an escape game. The surrounding French countryside is lovely for hiking, running, cycling and spotting wildlife, especially deer in the evening, or just doing nothing on holiday. Check the WiFi situation if you depend on it. Paid access is available, but we used up our credits quickly, so having your own mobile data helps. Nearby, Cyclo Rail, also called Velo Rail, lets you cycle along an abandoned railway line. Isabelle kindly helped book it since we couldn't manage that in our school French. We noticed others using the site as a one- or two-day stop, but we were glad to stay longer. Thanks to Isabelle and the staff for having us, it was a pleasure.

We've stayed here four times and will be back again with the amateur brassers. It's great value, with a wonderful site, good facilities and really helpful staff.
