Lagrange Vacances - Royal Parc / L'Alizier

This was a really pleasant stay in a quiet, clean, secure residence that feels suitable for families. It’s easy to get to, with free parking right in front and greenery all around. The bus and train stops are a 10-minute walk away. The pool, open until the end of September, was a real bonus. Shame there were no chairs or sun loungers by it. I highly recommend the place.

We found the compact apartments spotlessly clean, and the elevators worked. The location is peaceful and beautiful, close to both the station and beach, with shops just a five-minute walk away. There's also a huge park for walking, jogging and taking children to the playground.

The only time in all our visits to France that we felt ripped off. We had booked and paid for 14 days, but left early because the place bore little resemblance to the website pictures. Those photos showed the attractive neighboring building, which residents told us was private and had nothing to do with Le Grange. The pool shown was there too, and had to be shared with those residents. We had bunk beds with no lights. We felt scammed by what seemed like misleading photos of a property we weren't offered. It was the worst place we've ever stayed, and an outright case of false advertising and fraud as far as we were concerned. If you're happy with it, you must be from a developing country.

Avoid this poorly maintained place. The microwave and fridge weren't clean, the little fridge was rusty, an outlet was stripped, and there was a blood stain on the mattress. The bathroom was bad too.
