The check-in was easy, and the hotel felt welcoming throughout my visit. Staff were friendly and attentive, the room was clean and comfortable, and the service was better than I expected. I had an excellent stay.

I slept really well in the quiet, comfortable room, and the staff were welcoming. The hotel is very conveniently placed, with tram and metro stops right next to the building. Its restaurant, La Bascule, was a highlight too: excellent food and lovely waiters. I'll definitely return.

I arrived at your hotel on 09-08-25 at 15:15 after an 11-hour trip with two young children, expecting the standard I associate with Mercure Hotels. I was shocked to learn that the restaurant is closed on weekends, information that wasn't on your website, as your own staff confirmed. After such a long journey, we had no meal option. I was assigned a room on the 7th floor even though I'd explained that I'm afraid of heights. I was told the first four floors couldn't be used because of renovations. Only after I emphasized how severe my fear was did a room on the 2nd floor suddenly become available. That inconsistency made me feel misled and unwelcome. We left after just five minutes because we couldn't stay in those conditions. I was refused a refund, despite the missing and misleading information at booking. This does not meet the service standard I expect from Mercure Hotels. I request a full refund within 7 days or appropriate compensation. If this isn't resolved promptly, I'll escalate the matter to Accor customer services and share my experience online. I trust you care about your guests and the hotel's reputation, and I look forward to a quick reply.

The rooms were clean and cozy, the bed was perfect, and the food was good. The staff were friendly and professional, and I felt safe at this well-located hotel. There wasn't much to complain about, but a 4-star place should pay more attention to details. My room's furniture was damaged, although it didn't bother me personally. Some clothes were left on the lobby floor near my room for more than one night, at least until 12 pm the next day when we checked out, as the photos show. Maybe weekend staffing was limited, but it was bothersome. With a few small improvements, I'd recommend it without hesitation.
