Breakfast was filling and made with fresh, homemade food. The room stayed lovely and cool during the August heatwave, and opened straight onto the beautiful flower garden. There’s a lake about 400m away, with supervised swimming.

We found the quiet village and nearby countryside really restful. The welcome was very friendly, and breakfast was excellent. We had a wonderful night in two very spacious rooms, one of them split into two separate rooms. The cottage-style decor felt soothing, and the bathrooms were large and well equipped. Barbara gave us a very warm welcome. The spacious "garden" room was well kept and had its own bathroom. At breakfast, Barbara asks what you prefer so she can make sure you enjoy it. We highly recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone who likes staying at bed and breakfasts.

Vendome is worth stopping to see, and the surrounding area was lovely too. This turned out to be a surprisingly nice place for our stop on the way south, with a spacious room looking over the beautiful courtyard.
