The Gîte made a comfortable base for seeing the Southern Rhone region, with a large private terrace and a great bathroom. It was reasonably well equipped too, though Luc was right that the WiFi wasn't its strong point. I took on the barbeque as a bit of a challenge and thought my effort went well, but maybe it could use an upgrade. Anne was there to greet us, and our hosts were charming. GPS got us to the domaine without any trouble. A superb spot for touring vineyards and local sights.

We paid €94 a night for a room over the weekend of November 1st, but were put in a studio apartment instead. There was just one towel and no soap, and breakfast wasn't offered. The welcome was minimal. It felt like we were there to fill a schedule, rather than actually being welcomed.

We stayed in the Nid de Fleurs, which was tastefully decorated and had its own terrace, so it felt wonderfully private. The owners are friendly and clearly passionate about their natural vineyard. It's a lovely base for exploring, and the village is within walking distance. A wonderful place to spend a few days.

A tiny biodynamic vineyard producing 1,000 bottles a year, and the wine is incredibly delicious. Visan is a pearl, so peaceful and authentic, with a phenomenal view. One of the most beautiful places we've ever visited.

The owners are so welcoming and happy to share their natural wine and point out all there is to see in beautiful Provence. The location has an incredible view, and there's something new to discover every day.
