The owner was remarkably hospitable and made sure we had a pleasant stay. There are different options here, from a spacious guest room to a cottage with a well-equipped kitchen. Breakfast was varied and generous, served in a friendly atmosphere. In Vitrac, right beside the church, the gîtes are close to shops and beautiful natural scenery, with outdoor activities nearby. Your host is from the area and can point you toward local places to discover. It was a real chance to experience Cantal and meet people. Hiking in the Auvergne Volcanoes Regional Nature Park is also a great way to explore Cantal.

The owner was very pleasant, and we received a warm welcome. We stayed in a typical regional house in a small village, and our room was spotless. Breakfast was generous, with homemade and local products.
